Tower Falls, and Hayden Valley

Premium
Lodging:
Gray Wolf Lodge or Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone

Guests will be picked up at the
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport or the hotel of choice in Bozeman at
1:00 pm.  We will begin our tour with a
short scenic drive into the northern end of the Grand Loop of Yellowstone at
Mammoth Hot Springs.  Continuing east
through Roosevelt Junction, we will then travel into some of the best wildlife
viewing in all of Yellowstone.  Our
destination is Fish Lake where we will take the scenic short hike up to the
spawning grounds of the cutthroat trout.
The walk around the lake offers a peaceful and majestic view of the
surrounding mountains. We will travel back through the Lamar Valley as the
landscape uncovers the cascading waters of Tower Fall where guests may take the
short hike to the bottom or simply view it from the top. Our Chef will prepare
a meal along the Yellowstone River as we wait for the perfect light when the
animals come out to pose. As the evening approaches, we’ll carefully dissect
the wonders of Hayden Valley behind the lens. Bison, grizzly bears, wolves,
pronghorn, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and Roosevelt elk highlight this trek
through the heart of Yellowstone’s showcase of wildlife as our day in the park
comes to a close. An evening refreshment and dessert will make the short drive
to the hotel relaxing and will cap the day off perfectly.

Yellowstone. With multiple hiking opportunities, the canyon offers a variety of
perspectives of the Upper and Lower Falls. After another drive through Hayden
Valley with to get another chance at a Grizzly or Roosevelt Elk, we will
continue to the shores of Yellowstone Lake, at 7,733 ft above sea level,
Yellowstone Lake is the largest high elevation lake in North America. Driving
along the Fire Hole river, we’ll visit key areas such as Biscuit Basin, West
Thumb Geyser Basin.   We’ll break for
lunch at the historic Old Faithful Lodge before continuing through Fountain
